DAVID GILMOUR RATTLING THE LOCK OF THE MIND

David Gilmour rattle that lock is an album with a difference cutting you on a  low tempo, his voice leans into you like an echo that rings in your mind and rattling the lock of your consciousness, opening them and  telling Au revoir to chaos.

The mesmerizing vocal mixture of David Bowie and Chris Martin, the veteran, whose last album was released in 2006 envisaged the popular saying that good things take time with this album

5AM starts as an instrumental like an  alarm that ushers you into a wonderful morning waking and signaling you into a new day.

Rattle that lock the album titled song which projects the message of the album contails a message that requires urgency, beautifully written to be sung along and blasphemously grinding to the fact that

“if there’s a heaven it can wait"

Faces of stone reeks of regret and pain and is very cool and calm, A boat lies waiting also enters with this humbling instrumentals that brings out sighs from you. this song just get anybody who been through a difficult phase or awaiting a miracle from somewhere and the music also rock

In any tongue also  a beautiful song also brings you home with the "how am I to see straight" lyrics and the melody of the song  "rocks you like a cradle, wake you to the core and you sleep like a baby"

Dancing Right in front of me is also a good song with his voice resonating into the shadow of the night and the harmonizing made it a  another beautiful song in the album and lights a brighter part for you, the lyrics of the songs  so profound, they leave you thinking

Beauty and The girl in the yellow dress will pass by your eyes with soft beauty that will leave you somber and lull. Today is the only upbeat song  with fun lyrics and the guitar almost reminding you of Kool and the Gang

With And then.. the music reaches a climax with another beautiful instrumental that serve as the ending to the intro.

The bonus track include an extende mix of Rattle that lock for 6 minutes infused with the power of guitar followed by the orchestral version of The Girl in the yellow dress danceable with your partner who “dances like a flame"

Overall very good album. It is a must listen
