Steve Lacy is one of the talented musicians that make up the band the Internet with Syd et. al This young man's EP is something like a tease that gets you up but dont actually finish, as his calm voice dry humps your eyes in orgasmic expectation but he doesn't actually finish, limiting most of the songs to a 2 minutes snippet like song, somethng like a demo.
This kind of EP is like a sexual tease this days with the vast influx of music out there making a snippet like ep may be the next thing, because seriously, the world gives no room for any ordinary as the call for classic album and instant greatness is becoming ordinary reflecting the greed inherent in human nature. So this EP is a punch in our insatiableness and telling how we don't deserve it all.
The album
starts with an upbeat funk, his voice cool, flows with ease. with Looks but ends abruptly introducing Ryd is just
a wonderfully crafted and composed album with a beautiful tempo that just flow and the cool verse compliments the beat of the song especially this part
“ I see the way you looking through my peripheral ..."
And within
a couple of minutes the next song starts. Dark Red is
also a wonderful melody, with the guitar, the chorus and the background harmonize
is cool and ominous at
the same time the hihats also make it lovable. Thangs, is
also a simple bass guitar background song
Hater Lovin is pretty upbeat with the
drums and the repeating of the I hate you just as much as I love you. Finally ending with the beautiful Some which
starts my day for a while for a while now, the song is just beautiful and there is
something , about the part where he goes
"I know there's lot love in your heart..." That part is just genius. with the beat switch and The Take it slow Bridge. Nice just nice, I understand

The album
is a wonderful blend of colours just like his outfit on the album art and a True demo but it make you thirsty and beg for more time and song play
Seriously when the EP ended I didn’t know I just had to play it again and again.
I repeat a new era is upon us and the torch passing as started, as Steve could replace Bilal and BJ all at once Just saying, Man;s got talent.
