" I got pricked by cactus in my backyard, the pain was there In
the morning, but now in the evening there is a dull pain where
there once was a sting, so you know tis a ephemeral thing "
That there look like a excerpt from a Drake’s song, But it s Not, Rather I wrote that to
explain just how Drake music feels. With the kind of way he releases music you
can understand the pettiness he has and how he might have to keep releasing new
albums annually to stay relevant, Before we know it we might have another Gucci Mane
on our hands. The lack of content overtime have increased the tracklist and
reduced the track sense, Let me explain,
To deny Drake genius would be schizophrenic and even though “he
got more tunes for your head top so watch how you speak on his name” one needs to comment on the derailing of his music listen over time, with art, or music one expects betterment and mastery overtime. With Drake the latter is perfected the former looks relative and subjective based on who you ask.
To be honest I wasn’t hyped for More Life, but since this is
Drake, Lust drove us to listen and for a while we are always infatuated with it at first, Just like that Girl. no matter how beautiful she is, we tend to forget all about it, His music tends to last as long as a fly's life span.
More Life is a called a Playlist, sounds like a continuation of Views which makes it increasing the already present scowl and indifference. Ever since the If You Reading This Its Too Late mixtape, Drake started the whole Jamaican thing, envisaging that no matter how
big an artist there is still that need to find his own sound, which I cant say he has found in the whole Jamaican flow, and those annoying Jamaican skits.
But Lately, we have been introduced to the Drake who don’t know who his friends are and to be honest he has disappointing lyrics one too many times with punchlines so simple and bland “ you would think it broke down the way he pushes it. Making me personally wish and pray for the Take Care who gave us “Doing it Wrong” and "The
Real HeR" songs i still enjoy till day
But I guess Peak Drake hibiscusal release of albums relates on
the fact that the man just want to use his time in the lime light well to release as many as possible, since it only gets old..
For me a good album takes a minimum of 2 years to produce,
no matter How intelligent or how second nature making music feels to you. if
you don’t diversify your art and speak on a number of social norms factors or on a particular message, and still sing like the same bachelor with
adolescent carryover and haven’t gotten over his ex stuff, You could lose credibility and make your 2014
album shelved with the likes of Life after Death, and It was Wriitten…
Or maybe he took a page from the Nigerian book, He did feature Wizkid, whose "Don't Dull" and "Party" sound archaic compared to Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. Perfectly understandable if Drake was an upcoming artist as this would have been a wonderful album or playlist But Drake no matter how much of a baby he feels is already a veteran and there have been no growth in his music listen,

If any artist can talk beyond, his woman issues and
insecurities and tackle a little about the problems in the world, then that artiste
to me is just a selfish sucker of fame.Even though numbers don’t lie, lyrics do and so did drake.
Going into the details of the Album which starts with a Churchy chorus giving credence to
why there is a Kanye feature, with repetitive melody Free Smoke parches throat therefore there was No Long Talk featuring Giggs who delivers wanpressive manner. Soon we are to the
Ominiscience Drake who have seen Girls turn their backs on their friends one too
many time, One can already picture Drake in a skyscraper somewhere seeing for a living.
Blem keeps bringing more when obviously we have too
many, cool song, that looked like it should have followed Hotline
bling, in Views and I am Blem for real so its germane I say how I feel
In every twelve, 4422 betrayed the album as the Interlude from Sampha show why the son of Sisay deserve every recognition he gets as he showed us how songs are sung,
Gyalchester to me is Drake trying to show Migos, that he can also
do what they can. Giving credence and Yes
we know Skepta Interlude proves the power of Skepta flows and he
raps with upbeat and tempo and which makes us forgive
and bump to the misogynist lyrics “Block that account It’s a catfish” Portland is a beautiful song with Drake almost soiling it with his
tiring attention seeking and ghost haters bashing Travis Scott also delivered easily my best
song from the playlist
Sacrifice is also a cool Just can’t stop thinking about
2chains part ‘Yes I love my fans, but i don't wanna take pictures in a rest room”and Yong
Thug showing another part of him I swear I'm beginning to like with assonansical similes,
neat like geek, rose like derrick. Nice, showing a metamorphosis in his lyrics unlike Drake feeling great and not knowing he had a
lake the song is great. But I think Drake bridges are just too similar and one sided, maybe he needs to travel more,
Nothing into somethings, is another reminder that this is a
drake album, Teenage Fever with the oldie sample also sees Drake si iini ing (i didn't make a mistake, that part was meant to be sung)
KMT is a shoutout song featuring Giggs who brit rap how much he
likes perky breast, followed by Lose You which doesn't surprises us, explaining why we Can't Have Everything
Glow is a very good song, yes because it has Yeezy, chi-ing the song up with funny lines like till me
and being broke finally broke up. Kanye makes the song sound cool like until you get to where “I still have my guard up” listened through Way back and Fake Love which are also there, then to my next Best song which Is Ice Melt which show why“ you need to give it up
to someone" very beautiful chorus from Young thug, until it became“icy like
10-17” Ending with braggadocio that so Drake so Do not disturb
This album/playlist is a lustful listen, and it's ephemeral looking at this album, seeing an album by Drake would spurr anyone to go and listen but when the content is missing, So when it comes down to it what we do with Drake is really just lustful listen, If another album drop I might listen, but when it doesn't pass a particular message, which has been the case for the past 2 projects now, It is cool if he wants to experiment but the fact remains that the content have got to improve.
Best song : Ice Melts, Glow, Portland, and Blem
