Seydou Keïta was a Malian photographer. He is mostly known for his portraits of people and families he took between 1940 and the early 1960s and that are widely acknowledged not only as a record of Malian society but also as pieces of art according to Wikipeadia. Most of his photographs remind us of a time we must have forgotten as the quality of his images make you reminisce about a past life you think you had, as the images warm your heart making you ask yourself how did they live at that time when life was simple and pastoral.
