Benjamin Clementine - At Least For Now; Angels Work Barefooted

Benjamin Sainte Clementine is an English artist and poet who was born and raised in London afterwards left for aris where he did music on the streets and subways He is mostly seen barefooted in most of his music videos
His Angelic voice which echos strong emotions like pain and loneliness adorns At Least For Now this very wonderful crafted album with the piano as its spinal which was Played in beautiful crescendo and in an upbeat amidst vocables make it it a wonderful blend of beauty

The album starts with Winston Churchill boy which is a call for family and loved ones
there say no man can be a prophet in his own country so i left her i am
And the struggle of making art and how family can also be a problem and how it is important to break out to chase your dream
The spoken word and  his poetic usage elucidate his writing prowess which according to him is what loneliness gave him His style of music shows someone who got his influence from operas and French singers as he often go off with an unrelated sentence like a  related digression in his body of work, Talking while singing
“And it not true that is only when the door is locked that nobody enters the heart have been open to your demise
All in all this is a great album a classic album if I say so myself
Te production of this album is also good form the violin to the piano and the drum coming with an echo of the hats and and you can hear the distant flute to create a beautiful ballast that supports his vocables ‘Hmm Hmm Hmm
Adios is a little upbeat beauty singing goodbye lovingly, Nemesis is a lovely song having nice lyrics like If  i held my breath on you I would have died a thousand times showing that the thing we go after is actually our doom, Man is like a propane sweating child that is dawn to fire
Condolence is one my best I remember shouting
You should know buy now that I just don’t care and I felt a little bit free, If you need a song to lose your mind to. This song helps ease the pressure we face, it also tackles fear as a driving factor that make people do despicable things the fear of not having money makes you lose your soul. So send your condolence to fear and insecurities because you done it all before - Beautiful song
Cornerstone is the cornerstone of this album, the center the mud, here we are taken to the darkness that made this album showing us the gift his loneliness which played a lot of role in this album “All alone in a box of stone, they claim to love me but they all lying”
Something we can all relate to, Finally Gone is another masterpiece taking us back to the little boy with big head small ears telling us to know that all will be gone, a call to take life slow, gentle with a beautiful melody that you cant stop replaying it over and over and at the end of the album you will be singing to your self It doesn’t matter anymore it doesn’t matter anymore because
All will be gone/
