Inye madu kporo nkita ya ko na za (an igbo proverb) which
translate to Whatever you call your dog is what it will answer to, This proverb helps to elucidate with a deeper
understanding into the importance of names and how it helps shapes a person. Names are what we go by and what we answer to Many of us are named based on the circumstances surrounding our birth, a dream
or on a whim. Names gives us strength, makes us who we are, they identify
with us, and encapsulate our personality and make us familiar.
When you go and introduce your self to a person, he will
think of a person with that name and try to understand you based on his
relation with that person or you could be a new name he has to find time to
understand too Names are just as important as the the clothes we wear because they
clothes our personality and help fortify us a little. Take for instance Zlatan
Ibrahimovic who usually refers to himself by calling his first name (Zlatan) as source of
empowerment to fuel his much deserved ego
Names could also be source of discouragement if you were
named and awkward name in your own opinion they become the bane of our existence and you will change it with a short and simple name for yourself
Pseudonyms are false
names, monikers (nicknames) or names we give ourselves or other people give to us, we all have that one false name we tell
complete strangers, mine was Douglas when I was younger, Can't really say I kind of chose Douglas but then it opened a second personality for me, it became someone i could blame my evil doings, Now i think about it, it seemed bipolar. But now my options are unlimited now, they don't serve as blame receivers or a dual personality but they can give us a sense of mysticism, strength and the fact that they our brain child we kind of get attached to
them, and in a way they are an explanation into our
personalities
My commonly used moniker is Zetsu - You will know him If you are the anime head, Some anime characters that just reflect your personality, other cool names in anime which i like to use are Orochimaru, Zaimokuza, Saizou, Nobunaga, or Jinbei, Many a times nicknames can be a source of happiness and self esteem boosters, when you are in a bad mood, and one calls that nickname right could help pacify you, other nicknames are 66th demon, Mr Graves, Blood Moonchild, and Phineas, J Cole is also known as The Therapist or The Hypnotist, Kendrick Lamar can be Cornrow Kenny or Kungfu Kenny, Ab-Soul another peculiar example also whose real name is Herbert Anthony Stevens IV but uses the name Ab-Soul for rapping, the "Ab" stands for Herb the short form of Herbert his name and the colloquial name for marijuana which isn’t too far from the Carson rapper, and the full name Ab-Soul is short form for Absolutely which is his preferred adjective in rating his how good a rapper he is, with Your imagination is your only limit. Also they come in handy for twitter handles.
It also protect the controversial
writer and shield him from critics of his/her work who might want to hurt the
writer they are often called pen names for example Ernest Hemingway used Tatie, George Orwell is the pseudonym of Eric Arthur Blair
Anagrams go one step further to totally confuse a person they
are intricate and witty ways of using only the specific letters in your name to create words or names that could still reflect a little of who you are. Anagrams are actually very hard to construct and can take a bit of your time, but when you get it you can create up to four or five of them. I first got to know anagram when Alkay Kamasko told me the anagram of Leonardo Da Vinci as O Draconian Devil if you see every letter in the word Leonardo Da Vinci is in O Draconian Devil, seconded by the character Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs where He gave a name as Louis Friend which was an Anagram of Iron Sulfide (fool's gold) to throw the cops off, Seeing some Popular Anagrams of Famous people like
Tom Cruise - Costumier
Adolf Hitler - Do real filth
Lionel Messi - Millions see
Leonardo Da Vinci - O Draconian Devil
William Shakespeare - I am a Weakish Speller
So I decided to create some which are cool and funny too, The idea is to pick just two or three names that can be used the more names you use, the more the alphabets the more it will hard to construct.
First using music review writer Dennis Peter name
Dennis Peter - Peter sinned - Inspired teen,
Victor Samuel - Carlos Mustlevi - Most Rev. U.C Ali - Late Vicar muse - Simulative Orc
- Musical overt - Islamic Trouve - A live scrotum(funny right) - Volume Racist
Do you have pseudonyms too, and can you try creating your own anagrams
by- A live Scrotum
