Buddhism is experience.
It borders on experience and self development, Knowing that every problem we face is ours and ours alone, and that we are the architect of our own problem, removing from us greed and fear that impedes the mind Our biggest problem in life is our ego It is infused in us through Judeo-Christian greed, stemmed from foolish assurance that God is our father and all the other other nonsense that give us the brash arrogance of ignorance and flame the greed in us, constantly striving to "win", "own" "conquer" on a green sphere that spins without care, filling us with the each to his own mentality and individualism that leave us stumped and foolish in the face of life threatening situations We implode with problems we gather like Peter and his breaking nets when all we need is just the very little that is enough for us and is just. In truth we only come to this world with the skin on our backs the only true possession we ever have and we will not still leave with that Buddhism can empty us, teach us the reticence, modesty and nihilism that will equate our lives with the turmoil in store for us, purge us of all atom of foolishness and vanity that creates a feeling ineptitude and inadequacy that plagues us. in truth these are greed and need to conquer which frankly we can never do. With Buddhism comes minimalism with minimalism comes a sense of self, consumption caution, and concern about our environment and nature for anyone who has gone through the modern day challenges of depression and self loathe Buddhism have theories that help calm the mind down as it is armed with years of thinking meditation that works A lot self help that helps curb greed and consumerism caused unhappiness
Highlighting pathways to happiness it focuses on contentment rather than a solution to every thing we feel we should own, control or be in charge of Real life appraisal that works
Even if you don’t subscribe to all their tenets they have teaching that can be quite inspiring and I believe that it will heal the world one day When we do kill our ego and bloated self it is a step into tackling whatever problem life throws at us, As we reassess our priorities and find what is really important to us.
