With the summer holidays come a break from work for me, the chance to rest and binge watch a series. And last summer I saw The wire and Peaky Blinders, this one I specifically asked google for a series exactly like peaky blinders and the first example was Board Walk Empire And with Steve Buscemi in it I plunged, However I noticed these days I am becoming hard to impress and can't stand incredibly embarrassing scenes and unexplained nudity, and Board Walk Empire is a good series but with my taste for that those things waning I couldn't find an anchor, from Nucky's smug look and the shallow brushing of some the very important characters that deserve more than the cameo they get, because it was quite educating introducing and interweaving Politics, the Prohibition era with gangster like Al Capone, Meyer Lansky, Joe, Arnold Rothstein, I feel they should do a whole series on A. R, I really like the way Michael Stuhlbarg played him, with very good whitish poker face reminiscent of John Carpenter's Vampires combined with Mechanical Michael Shannon who played Van Puritan
All in all it is a good series but it would have been splendid they didn't focus so much on pervasive and nudity of the characters than the characters themselves, as the character didn’t to me embody a particular uniqueness and irascibility that made them who they were. Until, a man had car trouble in the beginning of Season 3 and decided to kill a man just for talking about something he wasn’t sure of. That man was Guissipe Columbano Rosetti, Played by Brandon Cavannale and I swear I fell in love with him immediately,
One of his favourite quote of mine is one He said, "How can you not take things personal you are a person aren’t you" Showing that life is nothing if not personal, because every thing reflects, injure and elevate the person that you are, from not receiving that mumble of good morning from your child to getting fired at work Because of bad sales, these things can relate and intertwine within every cell in your body. And if you are the kind of person that cares, you could be considered maniacal.
It culminated for me at Season 3 episode 7 an episode titled Sunday's Best which showed glimpses on the similarity between the warring factions of gangster being convivial with their families on Easter Sunday,
The prayer of Gyp Rosetti resonated with me, so much so that I feel that he was the reason why I watched season 3 with so much intent But this prayer is one of the most person experiences with a higher being I have ever seen, I felt myself get into the movie and relate almost numinous with the man

As he talked to the sum of all his weakness with unabashed openness not minding the saliva, talking from the heart. This scene is one of the most important things I have seen in movie in recent times, as the feeling for me when I watched it over and over was almost jubilant, knowing even if fictionally that a man understand what it is like to feel incomplete, incompetent, to be given a thirst with no end in sight To want and never see, to see only to be taken from, to dream and not attain, to plan only to fail,To be only to not be enough, to have hands stretched for comfort only to have it slashed in fun And to be told, its nothing personal, no bigger lie have ever been told
Everything is personal..
