After many years I did later, like most things in my life see the Truman show it was hilarious and inspiring leading me to ask question later after seeing it like most things in my life , and my question was What if our life was our own personal Truman show
What are you doing in your own Truman show?
When you look at it, we wake up put our brush in our mouth and follow the same idiosyncratic pattern we think will make our mouth smell fresh and after wash the same way, greet the same people on our way to work and sit in the same chair facing the same view, which for me is an old tree with few leaves on it used to transfer wire from the pole to the building, come back see a movie visit a friend, lament, regret, complain about our dear country, make our ideal projections insult each other's club and laugh about a loss, or something ephemeral we notice recently, say our good nights and do it all over again
Do we take our time to evaluate and draw a step back, and ask ourselves what is this thing i am doing and why do i think this is all there is to life?
So I just might decide to stay at home from work why because I wanted to know just how everywhere feels when i do go to work, take it all in and just relax, go for a walk to a neighborhood I don't know before, or travel to another state with no guide or direction just random stuff, Adding synchronicity I downloaded and listened to Peter Tosh’s discography and some of his teaching are literally shining light to the corrugated social constructs in my life and sending my unyielding rust to scamper
What then will you do in your Truman show?
Are you watching other people in their own Truman show, is your Truman show a boring and repetitive movement of pattern will you stay at home when it rain just to pick snails, Swim, dance, or go to the movies, you whatever feels okay and random to you.
A Truman finally discerned the boredom of his life we ought to be also tired of some the pattern and behavior and seek to break out of it and leave the useless matrix that make us a statistic once in a while just act erratic and see if the cameras of our postage stamp reality will fall and open our eyes to better appreciate our lives more and be mindful of our environment and our own existence.
in truth there is a lot happening besides us, we can't do them all but a little notice of them would help us immensely..
