Return To Centre (The Communist Pledge)

 

return to the centre
return to the principle that have conquered all worlds
for all men are born free and equal
all other are chains to the mind, locks on our soul
we will rise and conquer all adversities
towards our freedom, to work and earn our keep
for our bodily needs are finite and minimal
and to keep trust and to help - side before self !!
to say it’s enough, and put all of time together
destined to be just, wont to be fair
and the body therefore must serve the soul
whose ultimate goal is knowledge
in moderation we pick the toil and pearl of the content
and are stolen from the hubris of egomania,
nothing is here, we are sand transacting sand.
marshal our destiny with the sweats of our brow and strength of our mind
what options  do we proffer than to say, look within
there is a stomach to shrink, a mind to transcend
for we are never going to crow to everyone hearing
we might as well enjoy where we find ourselves as paradise
to smoke, read, laze around and make our labour costly
disregard the slave god and worship our mind instead
gullying ourselves to be free,  for it is in us to love
we all adhere in this communist pledge and will fight
until victory is ascertained
