What an Album!!; Salim Washington's Love in Exile

I currently have two in exile album and this is my favourite. This glorious album starts like the magical swish of a wand begining in a precipitation
The sonorous play of Salim join hands in glove with Joe Bonner's eccentric playing
I haven't been this ecstactic about a flute and horn playing Jazz album since Donald Byrd's kofi

The viola undulating tides can only be given the litotes of an oh so very good, with a perfect blend of Salim's eclectic suffusion mixes with Bonner surgical discordance and you have the first every merry go round in musicality and doubly so being in Jazz

The album feels jubilant like a new dawn, such perfect crispy and tight playing  for an album that was recorded in 1997 it's imprint is forevermore favorite track is the third track. To know Yahweh
Well tailored and measured, tracklist arrangement straight from heaven. It's horn and Flute playing that is not only unnerving but memory etching. Salim and the RBA must have thought to themselves what kind of wonder have they made here, It's still here!
