This anime is so well drawn and voice acted, and I love the closing soundtrack ..doishta amatawa, What's wrong my dear? Everything because this anime tumbles me, again I love the way this anime is drawn, Japan in the 80's was a dream both in movies and in cartoons I miss those kotatsu old big jugs for hot water and thick sweaters. Maison ikokku is a frozen time capsule into the very beauty of hand drawn anime and Japanesness, Clearly autobiographical the anime by Rumiko Takahashi a takes ones back in time using the love tale of Manager and Ronin but it's the note that get me, the entire lodging is in a love affair, a voyeur into differed world, partying a similarity and tagging their line on a romance that would definitely take to the skies.
Its your life isn't it , this love that seems to exude from this anime doesn't ask to be claimed but remembered, it's the leisure, the love, attention paid to a love that could be the bond that would glue back a country torn apart by the Second World War, Almost half a century later it is fighting another war, a war of the hearts and it is winning, and win it will for centuries to come
