Could Swange become Africa's Ballet

Watching and remembering my first encounter with a beautiful dance in the University, how fascinated I was with the flexibility and grace that make up for Africa most beautiful dance, made me think if The Tiv's swange dance could become the equivalent of ballet for us.
Naturally, I first thought Atilogwu but it was less graceful and a little too hard on a proscenium and I wanted something that much challenging, body demanding and you must drift eastwards from initial thought position to the beautiful and naturally sustainable state of Benue, currently mangled with incessant attack in her lies a dance that could be exported and challenge for the equivalent of what ballet is in the world today and that dance is called Swange the cat dance.
it involves body training and flexibility gives credence to it drums mesmerizing and alluring. We have performing arts professors who could take time to study and build upon the fundamental of this dance and surely with a little structure and deserving credence we could elevate, edify and export this dance.
