The Dragon Temples

{This is entirely Fictitious}

Liang - Grandpa How did they build all those temples in the sky

Grandpa Wuan- (laughs) A long time ago, when dragons used to roam the three realms, when they dies their bones did not remain on the ground and decay like the rest of the animals, because they are celestial beings their when the bodies which weighted their bones decayed the bones floated back up to Tusita heaven from whence they came.

The Emperors at that time thought of a way of making temples in the sky using Dragon bones they were to be known as the dragon temples

So whenever a dragon died, he dragged them to an underground room where they decayed,  Took the bones of dragons already rotted which floated atop as the base of these temples.

Liang - What?

Grandpa Wuan - (laughs) Some might say, if dragons existed why are there no dragon bones, they did, They are all up there in Tusita Heaven  No one can reach it now.

These bones became used for a lot of things, It was a wonderful idea.

The Emperor put them on the base of his shoes and floated with them, closed his feet together when he wants to land and with a parachute cloth. some people were punished by tying them to the dragon bones as execution, but later decided it was a waste of the bones.

They usually build temple on top of a wood and get the bones from the underground room, put the bones beneath the temple and let it go up to the sky. The renunciant or the Monk's would then join the temple to be left alone in deep meditation, In climb the monks, never to return. only the royal Family can go and visit for prayers carrying foodstuffs.

I know, he survives off herbs planted with some earth in some bowls, but mostly he meditates and lives off the air.

Liang - (laughs)

Grandpa Wuan - You laugh but it is possible, they were well trained to live off food for a long time

Eventually the weight of the temple and the bones get an equilibrium that make the temple float.

Liang -  I wonder if there are some bones still buried around

Grandpa Wuan - (laughs) Ha, they are long gone
