Murals of Black Artistes

It is important we make murals of black artistes especially in black communities where the ignorance of who these artistes are and the kind of music they play is still quite high.
I know at least 50 families and a whole generation that will never listen to Andrew Hill's Point of Departure, they dont know the man, nor even that genre of music.

And it is sad.

You read on Wikipedia that:
Bobby Hutcherson was born in Los Angeles, California, to Eli, a master mason, and Esther, a hairdresser.
And think to yourself, imagine what he had to go through to become the Bobby Hutcherson, to rise from all that to become the Jazz Icon he was, and why couldn't i do the same

Create those murals, paste those pictures on the walls, let them go : who is that?
And check google for Andrew Hill, Pharoah Sanders, Bobby Hutcherson, Harold Land, Erykah Badu, Nina Simone
Let them see skin as black as theirs raise goosebumps from the sheer talent and inteligence of their playing, let them become inspired, let them know their role models, let them wake to images of their heroes, let them wake to the images of possibilities, and know they too can do it, become that and more.
