Kweku Collins - Nat Love | Review

And we start with the Piano....
This is the first sentence that just ring across my mind my immediately I see the album art. I love the intro so much.which starts well betoken of a good album and listening experience
Look around tell me what do you see, i see a rapper that just caught me on first listen which personally i feel is a hard feat to achieve considering my long time of music listen. Kudos to this young man who is a very good rapper with,  talent to go a long way
The 19-year-old rapper and Evanston, Illinois native lives just beyond the fray of the city dubbed Chiraq and I feel he is a true prospect shootout to DJbooth.net for the much needed exposure that showcase the wonderful talent that this young man has.

The Piano is as important in the whole album as he pointed start with it as the piano felt like the theme color of the whole album as it stained every music, either within around or in between
Nat intro has a catchy feel and and the piano and his vibe towards it. he totally killed it
Stupid roses as this piano intro and and his voice and vibe towards it again is really something. There is something about his flow that is trendy and cool, the uh rah rah and stupid fucking roses blending with a cool draw fast beat and drag use of his voice all at once
Vanilla skies is my personal favorite the beats and the voice, this song is particularly cool as the song is dream, "play your part pimp, these girls are smart" i continue listening and you'd vibe to the slow beat and the way the beat makes you bump your head,
Ego Killed Romance is also a nice song, and again with the simplicity of beat, and that piano just entering the songs, and Jamilla Woods killing with the chorus "and you can't save me" as Kweku makes his way to the beat, drifting into the beat and the drums trying to involve you on his imaginative journey into the sun and how he crash landed on mars
You wont enjoy Everever oasis unless you have a bad experience like a bad breakup Walking home from work and you are hearing a song describe you and it makes you smile and add a little swag at the step. but then he changes the beat to something upbeat but you can still hear that solemn piano still showing prominence in the whole album
Ghost is the song for me, look around tell me what do you see, again with the piano and his flow here was legendary especially when he goes like "this is the east, i think i have seen a ghost" He flows like a veteran here, beautiful song
Death of a Sale man, also a beautiful, but the song that show his versatility is 1:30 Curbside, where he just flow with a slow rap, and just flows and the background to up, "they torture my conscience but i got em, i got em,"
I speak for every song that shows a glitter of hope, and the Outsiders have that, with lyrics like "can you sun set real good on the west side, you can see it on the east side too and stay golden for me". i love this song, the beat, his voice just blend into a puree of goodness'
Overall great album.
