bird without legs

Bird without legs
down low, slow to get up
far from the morning light
still,
Into the light, With wings I'd love to fly
Useless legs why do I need you to fly
Useless wings? without you I can't fly
So you will throw me up?
Up in the sky where I can flap my wings
But, I have never flown
Still, i try,
Still I fly,
And how then will I land without legs
Let me, Flap my wings for now,
Flap my wings for a while,
Flap my wings, for a moment
Flap my wings,I soar high 
And plummet to my death?
