The Theory of Cultural Proliferation

 I want to change things. turn the world into my own personalized Lego set, but I can’t, the little I can do is proffer solution from the hand stretch of my hard reality. Spell Bending will not make for a great opening paragraph but this is was not written to stand up to mesmerizing write ups, this is a cry for help a thought born out frustration after seeing some of the curses that perturb our already flawed thought process, the flimsiness that spurs our greatest martyrdom and the repeated nature of such things. the facts that back our indoctrination traditions and dogmas; all laughable construct that leads to the death of millions and in my small space I think of way to change some of these thinking, Even if I can only navigate through thought constraint that might my hamper my wishful progress. Where the question is: How do you make a group of people thorned with the repressive and dogmatic tenets of Abrahimism to be intelligent, civilized and with hope bohemian and cool? how can you imprint a differed world view to a stupor of greed and depravity? Can it be done through the application of a theory of cultural proliferation. So in wishing...

One can introduce a myriad of culture that will adulterate ours which will afford us an open mind for the constant comparison of cultures, thought process and philosophy through which we can mold certain peculiarities from the differed cultural mix and form a well knowledgeable and learned aspect of their fixed self, and hopefully pass on a more intelligent notion of who we are to hopefully a more civilized offspring and maybe in some years time we will have through this culture mix a more civilized populace.

   Firstly, what is a culture and tradition, these are thought process derived from the trial and errors of first timers towards certain things that have been proven to work for a certain thing or phenomenon to the level of their thinking. It is checked and approved by like minders who also commit same mode of thinking for sameness and social acceptance. For example, the payment of dowry to marry is a culture accepted, but without it the woman can still get married to a man even marriage itself is also a culture all imposed, buttressed by no hard fact of it improving or changing the milieu of marital life. All these are social construct which will all fade with time. But this theory and thought process hopes to speed things up.

Take a city like New York considered to be the birth place of Jazz, Hip-hop, Modern Art and a host of others is only regarded with the mother-ship of so many interesting aspect of art and life because of the mixture of culture which creates a syncretic force between people languages and culture and this culture mix gives a wide berth for freedom, emotional ballast and the needed variety that reduce the stink of boredom and spice up whatever endeavor one is involved in that part. for example; An Albanian DJ in New York might just find something cool about the Iran music he heard as he pass the shopkeeper there and decide to take the music or inquire about the artist from the helpful shopkeeper who is equally glad of another person from another culture interest in his choice of music and language, the DJ might then make a good music in the club or birthday party sharing the curiosity interest and knowledge of a particular music, or artist. This inter-connectivity is only possible in a place with a niche or support for such mix,this is one of the differed examples of what makes New York such a unique city and the artistic influence it has bears witness to that based on the influx of differed culture and different people.

And in a place in Nigeria my proposed subject where we are stuck with the overbearing familiarity, push and shove of each others greed and sameness in thought process we can go ahead and look for or create our own mix. Through the theory of cultural proliferation.

To explain my theory I will be using a state in Nigeria called Enugu state which is my state of origin remember that I am projecting some wishful thinking, Frankly Lagos where I stay is filled up and my theory will only work with a city with just enough space to plant the seed of diversity. so imagine with me: I am the executive governor of the state and I have the full backing of my two checking arms of my government and can do all I Like.( real life is more complicated )

To introduce culture you need people and in Africa, there is not an unfortunate circumstance with than the poverty in Ethiopia, so Why not grant them asylum in your country a million will do. It make sense since most of them are Christians they can blend with the hypocritical religious side of the natives and they are very beautiful so when it comes to Aesthetics they are the most fine black Africans and as much as I don’t want to sound like Hitler they would be good for racial eugenics when they mix with the people of the home state, their long hairs and oblong faces would serve a good genetics purpose. The International news clamor for their death is not as much as when we are killed for far more gruesome and unfortunate events, So we know lookism still play a major role in attaching value to a human life it is just heuristics, caveman instinct and nothing new. So taking advantage of that we can accept them and scatter them among the locals .so that they inter- marry.and stain them with their cultures and habits, Give them a place and occupation, (teaching seems like a very good Occupation but occupation in factories, sport centers, building, just enough to get them by.plus some might also bring Rastafarian culture which a which is a nice philosophy to counter our hard stench of African shrine Christianity  

 Now to the culture proliferation as that is going on, the state will promote hippie cultures, Buddhism, artistic culture and sport activities that prove as hospice for them The state would celebrate every holiday on the planet, (Halloween, Chinese New year, Hanukkah, etc) these will make the people curious and learn more about other cultures, and reduce the working days to 4 (nothing is done on Fridays anyway) the people should be taught how to live not how to work to death. Place differed religious houses in the communities legalize marijuana and organize state sponsored events like musical festivals every August to ensure the proper mix up of the different people and serve as tourism to attract more people more differed cultures.

THE CONSULATE OFFICE; While the above is going the state will create in different Nigerian state an office building called the Enugu State Consulate Office which will be like a state embassy in other states and region in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.This is the most important office, for the cultures will not come to us we must actively seek other people culture and peculiarities and use them for our own, the consulate office will be like a state embassy in other states; in context it will be in the other thirty five states and the Federal Capital Territory including other popular countries outside Nigeria like ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo,et.al. This office will serve several purpose one of which it will be a stop and a post for culture proliferation, Most Youth corp members of Enugu state will go there for assistance in settling in any state in Nigeria they will be provide with the needed assistance and protected when in danger, they will serve as an official stamp and protect the citizen of Enugu state investment in other land as they will work with home state government and ensure that home and business of it's natives are not broken into or destroyed even in times of conflict. The consulate office can build an estate or houses for the collators of cultures who will come under a brand known as

PROFFESSEURES SAN FRONTIERS.; An obvious rip off of Medicine San Frontier but performing equal function of succor, basic knowledge wise. They will be accepted by the state government to help their teach the children of other states, English Maths (inshort basic literacy) they will be graduates employed by Enugu state to go and teach In other states, but their main work will be to suck at the marrow of their community and learn all they can from them and report it back to the state. Cultural proliferation will not only help improve these citizens and make them more exposed but more intelligent but make them better in tuned with themselves.

These teachers are actually agents of proliferation they use their jobs which involves teaching in the primary and secondary schools, after they close around 2 -3 pm they start their second work which involves going into the community and learning from their host community . they are to learn the local songs, food, habits, folktales, agricultural practices, crafts, trade techniques, languages, clothing,local medicines and herbs, fruits,dances, quirks, Art and artifacts and other peculiarities of their host communities. They are sheltered by the consulate office which they are to report every month and tell all they have learn. They can live their lives, inter-marry if they wish which still help fulfill the purpose of proliferation, They are can also provide aids and sensitization if the community is conflicted but their safety is sacrosanct. They are to do the job for a period of 5 years which can only be renewed only once in which they to retire and start up their own business or look for employment elsewhere they will be paid 50,000 naira in which 5000 will be deducted every month and from them and use to develop their host community in one way or the other as gratitude. To build amenities like water, clinic, sport centers etc

When these information is gotten, the people of Enugu will be well versed in differed cultures and more knowledgeable than ever before, on the street one will find Chapati and Rice from Kenya, Efo riro from Western Nigeria, Banku from Ghana as food, Clothes from different parts Languages from different places and medical practices will be known here In their schools, languages and cultural practices of different states will be taught to the kids to break them open to the smallness of their world and ingrain in them the explorer’s mind and an hunger to want to know more. In our farmland will be plants, trees, and herbs that are either getting endangered or forgotten due to a lack of continuity and knowledge, our medical practice will also improve local art and craft will boom if we can learn different art from other culture and encourage our people to do them, giving them essence and purpose. And the people after a period of 20 years will be  beautiful, learned and civilized through a simple influx of cultures.
