Dave Chappelle comedy can seem elitist and a little not for everybody especially so for someone without enough reference and information some of the jokes might seem elusive
Dave Chapelle who hadn’t performed in over 10 years deciding to come back and do a stint in LA at the Hollywood Palladium, this felt very important to him as he recanting his life, wife and envy of Kevin Hart. In his he is met with mixed emotion as the whole of Hollywood is engrossed in the rape scandal of Bill Cosby, of whom he was a big fan.
Stretching Morality, he makes a fictional super hero who rapes but saves, a characteristic of his comedy shows in which he use poetic and allegorical nuances to tackle some poignant issues
Also he talks about the four times he met O.J. Simpson and how he felt each time, his suspicion and clarity ended up making it a very good and funny show. I'm sure you'd enjoy this
