Organizing A Local Book Club

Recently, I keep thinking about my service year and how much I could have done for the local community, I could have established an elkhsry or at least organized a local book club
We forget as Youth Corp members that the future of these community are literally placed I  our handxs and we have a year to impact what we can in their lives.
I had media, I had a speaker, at least an outdoor cinema using a projector would have changed lives, I could have used the empty classrooms in the weekend to organize a book club. I had novels I had bought for 100 naira at Ikeja, I could have done so much, But we were so caught up in being fresh graduates, and so self centered we forgot the little we do to improve our host community futures, We just waste the year like that, thinking of allowances and our advent into the labour market.

We soon grow old to find that humanity is a service industry and we only live and truly live to offer help assistance and guidance to others.
I'm restless, wondering if I'm doing all I can every time, hesitant to starve fast just to expound and expose another mind to the joys of music books and good movies.
I could have done more, learn from me and know that it actually cost nothing to do something great, Like organizing a local book club wherever one finds oneself, especially during and after one's service year.
Using the community schools, local library, Religious Centers or Even the local bar.
