Very few Universities and Philosophy Departments study Michel Onfray, and its a shame, I mean the man is a blessed and intelligent philosopher, I have read all he wrote in English but I am hampered that the bulk of his repertoire are still in Spanish, Italian and French, I have spent years looking for an English translation of his book Decadence, I could make out some of his writing in French and know it would really be an interesting read.
His outlook on life is one I thoroughly enjoy, thrown into an orphanage by his own parent, Michel gave us then the vet, the audacity to live ones life by one's choosing in the Atheist and Hedonist Manifestoes.
But I wonder if Yale University Press or some other publishing could take the time to translate into English and convert into ebooks all of Michel Onfray works.
He is the spry that sprung up my thinking, the life in my wire. and I recommend him for any serious reader with interest in free thinking philosophy.
Please someone should take on this project.
