My interest in music have shifted to specific genres with the years, As with experiences comes pain, birthing an affinity for certain genres, such as Blues, Soul, Indie and Folk as a consequence My pop, rock and lately even Hip Hop days are getting behind me.
You can tell from my "Best Albums to Download" in recent months, that they have been quite personal and averted to a particular region and theme. i have to admit at the least that as a curator i too am biased with the kind of albums i consider to the best.
They are all very god albums but they might not be what is considered appealing to the followers of the blog.When i started blogging my goal was and still is to bridge the gap between albums and people. For i believe music (good media) can change the world. I am a living witness to the power of good music so i make sure to prescribe and acquiesce people to my tool of transcendence.
However, there are so many genre as there are billions of albums, I can't be the ultimate sieve, so I want to give to you the bookmarks and my knowledge of searching for albums. What this implies is that i am basically telling you how this blog is being run. My own mortality and a pang to share rather than hoard have effected this. So you also can start a blog like this one, when i retire or search for your own kind of albums yourself too.
BOOKMARKS: are websites you can store in your browser for later viewing or perusal
HIP/HOP albums, I use Producto Illicto
they have lots of Rap and Hip/hop albums down to the 80's with their links work perfectly.
ROCK albums : I mostly use Lagrima Pscicodelica
a very wonderful blog similar in style to product illicito they have all the rock albums of all the bands from U2 to Black Sabbath, all with very easy mediafire links
NEW ALBUMS I sometimes use Labotiquemusic Blog
REGGAE ALBUMS ; i Use Root Stone Blog
they have all the reggae albums including your favorites
WORLD MUSIC & AFROBEAT ' I use The Curtain With Blog
Afro beats album of Femi, Seun, Tony, Senegalese albums etc abound, and a lot of old classics too
BLUES, JAZZ & CLASSICAL - I use The Blues That jazz
this site offers good jazz albums, lately all my jazz albums come from there, and my classical too, like Delius, Ritcher and Chopin are all there
FOR THE REST; I use vk.com
Vk.com is basically Facebook for Russians but it is different meaning you can upload stuff like albums on the site and share videos, zip files and many other things to your friend
if you've ever wondered why is it that when you click an album link in this blog it download automatically. Well we have Vk to thank for that. Sometimes if you don't see the album it will direct you to their website with the message file deleted
All you need to do is just go there create an account and search for the album you want under documents and there is a 60% chance you will see what you want
WITH TORRENT DOWNLOADER: I use Ru Tracker
This also a Russian website where you can download new, and old albums, However in some cases to download a certain album you might be forced to download the discography or download the album in FLAC , the only thing is that they are in torrent form.
STUBBORN ALBUMS
it is funny to call the work of an artiste stubborn based on my inability to download it for free on the net, but that the way things are, I can't afford to buy it from legal streaming sites but consider the fact that we make more than half of these artistes fans and help them get more fans by our continual spreading and sharing of their work without collecting a dime, while discounting our lack of sleep, stress and money spent on data downloading them, over and over again as our own quota. We love the artiste just the same, we are just poor.
Now an album can be unbearably hard to find online like "HNNY- Sunday" album and you have used google search, duckduckgo and nothing seem to be giving you the album as easy as yours truly.
Because most sites like using link for ads to frustrate people who might want to download, some website don't update their links (Oddverbs link updates is going on as I write) and this make it quite hard to find certain albums online.
Here are some tricks that i find can ameliorate the situation, though i have found that regardless some are still difficult, so i write them in a book somewhere and look again after sometime.
TRY GOOGLE; Google is a search engine that use algorithms to produce the most viewed web page with your search query for you to locate it quickly.
so when looking for an album you can search for it like this (i really like this album)
Arctic Monkeys - AM 2013. ZIP/RAR (type the album of your choice end it with zip/rar)
and search on google.
Using Google(mind you there is a full stop before the zip) actually takes you to any site or blog that might have hosted the album in a zip form or rar form (archived) and if you click on the site/blog, chances are you are going to find a healthy link for the album you want nested quietly and waiting for you
ADDING BLOGSPOT: there are millions of blogs online, and many of them like me are "good guys" just trying to provide free music for people to download so you could search on google

when you add blogspot to your search query it will search for blogs that might be hosting the album and since blogger is a free platform, many might make the link available and free
USING INDEX SITES; i have explained index as sites that are like file managers or hard drives in the web you could be lucky that the index site you find might have your albums

You can add zip at the end or leave it, also you can also search only the name of the artist as many people with the directory site might be lazy to name the album entirely, for them only the name will do. and coincidentally it will do for you too.
Using ULOZ.TO
This Serbian site have been a blessing to me, it host some very essential albums, music and even movies i must say, without Uloz, i don't know if i would have certain albums i have uploaded here the site is quite easy, you just click on the slow download it brings a captcha and you fill the box, cliick download and the album is yours.
LOADARCHIVES FORUM
At the time of writing this, i found out sadly that this forum is gone, I am entirely grateful to it for some hard albums i am alble to host (HNNY - SUNDAY)
think about a meeting of Daddies and Mommies a forum where people ask for albums and wait patiently to collect the album the next day, the owner of the blog. Load Archives Music created this forum for people to ask specifically for certain albums, must you mustn't ask for more than two and it wasn't all the time they also have the album. But they are very helpful in finding some hard albums.
If all that fails and sometimes it might, you might just give it a month or so and try the above again you might be in luck, and if you have money, please support all these artistes and buy directly they are wonderful and deserve all the money and recognition that they get and more.
So that is essentially how i find albums and upload for you to enjoy. So you don't have to depend on me or request albums on my comment section, there was a time people were asking me to add the genre and description of an album so they know what they are downloading if it will be to their liking or not.I'm sorry it's too much work already as it is and Even i admit that retirement might not be so far of.
With the guide above you also can search them out yourself, because i don't see myself changing from this new love for the gentle and spiritual music which for those without my catharsis and heartbreak can be quite slow and sad.Others who still like my recommendation. let's continue the ride, if you need a particular album, you know what to do.
